Case Study: V-SOL Ltd

V-SOL provides vehicle management systems to commercial truck fleets, sales and servicing organisations and other companies. At the core of this is their vehicle tracking (V-Track TM) system, a key part of which was written by Ennabyte.

V-Track uses the global positioning system (GPS) to track the precise geographical location of vehicles. This can be done either in real-time or by retrieving stored data. Ennabyte writes and maintains the software that controls the PC interface – dial-up, retrieval, playback and reporting.

Ennabyte was involved from the outset with V-SOL in product visualisation, design and realisation; we continue to work closely with the company as it responds to new developments and requirements.

Ennabyte also wrote V-Text ™ exclusively for V-SOL. V-Text is a fast and flexible mobile texting system, allowing messages to be swiftly written and dispatched to a group of vehicles. A key feature is the novel proprietary interface that adds to the message context-sensitive phrases and names by means of a single key-press.
